Don't Wait If You Hate Big Screens, or Can't Afford it

And finally, this last slide has two. Simply put, don't wait for the LG G6 if you can't afford it. Most likely it will cost over $600. That is a lot. It could be closer to $800, who knows.

What we do know though, is viable alternatives with the same processor are available now. Like the $439 OnePlus 3T. It has the same amount of storage, a big 5.5-inch screen, the same processor and a beautiful design for a low price. LG will need to keep the price competitive. If you can't afford it, look elsewhere.

Last but not least, that screen. Not everyone wants a big screen, and the LG G6 will certainly have one. In fact, it will be longer than most 5.7-inch devices like the huge Galaxy Note 7. That's because they're using a new 18:9 aspect ratio. It will be long, not as wide, and technically easier to hold. That doesn't mean people who don't like big phones will suddenly be ok with it. So if you've stuck to smaller screens, wait, and try it in a store before making any big decisions. It's just a thought that's really important to a lot of buyers, myself included.

At the end of the day the LG G6 should still be an amazing phone for almost and all buyers. Expect it to be unveiled at the end of February, and hopefully released within a month later. We're hopeful for before the beginning of April. Stay tuned for more details.
