What Consoles Won’t Get the NBA 2K18 Prelude

Unfortunately, the NBA 2K18 Prelude isn’t for every console that gets the final game. In fact, only the Xbox One and the PS4 can download the free demo.

2K Games and Visual Concepts confirmed on September 6th that the Nintendo Switch would not get the NBA 2K18 Prelude. That’s despite the Nintendo Switch getting an almost feature complete version of the title. The publisher recently revealed that Nintendo Switch gamers can’t buy a physical copy of NBA 2K18 until October 17th also. Thankfully, a digital version of the game still launches for Nintendo Switch on September 19th.

The Prelude was terrible. Literally finished it in twenty minutes of 3 five minute street ball games with fictional horribly named street ball players and regardless if you do well or really bad in these street ball games you willing get an NBA tryout from your favorite team with five minute games against the bench and then the starters. That’s it! No chance to use “the overhyped” The Neighborhood and you can’t do anything with your attributes. Complete waste!
