OnePlus 5T vs OnePlus 5: Design

As expected, these two phones look almost identical. The OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5 are almost indistinguishable from the back, except for one big change. The new OP5T has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

That's because of the bigger 6-inch screen on the front, leaving no room for the fingerprint scanner and home button. Now, it's on the back like other Android phones. Other than those two things, these phones both feature a premium metal and glass design, rounded edges, and dual cameras on the back.

If you love the fit and finish of OnePlus phones, you'll love the OnePlus 5T.

One area of the design everyone can appreciate is the 3.5mm headphone jack, this phone still has one. And while we don't get water-resistance this year, this phone has everything else one would want. If you've considered the OP5, get the new OnePlus 5T instead.
