OnePlus 6 vs LG G7: Design

Honestly, the design isn't a huge deciding factor for most buyers, but it is important. That's because the design delivers meaningful specs we'll mention in our next slide. Like IP68 dust and water-resistance, or wireless charging.

The LG G7 is all metal and glass, just like an iPhone or the Galaxy S8/9. You have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, two cameras on the back, USB Type-C on the bottom, a headphone jack, and a USB Type-C charging port. The front is all screen but that notch at the top. There's a power button on the right side and volume keys on the left. There's also a dedicated Google Assistant button on the left side.

As for the OnePlus 6, you're getting nearly the exact same design. Yes they look a little different, but everything is in relatively the same spot. The only difference is the OnePlus 6 looks somewhat like an iPhone on the back, while the LG G7 doesn't. They both have two rear cameras, a rear fingerprint scanner, etc, etc, etc.

The only potential difference here is whether or not OnePlus finally offers water-resistance. And, if they offer the phone in metal or wood finishes, as we've seen in a few leaks.
