With the OS X 10.11.4 update you can now view Live Photos on Mac in more places. Previously you could only see these in the Mac Photos app, but now htey work in Messages. When someone sends you a Live Photo via iMessage you will see it on your Mac in the Messages app. There is a small circle in the corner that lets you know that it is a Live Photo. Double click on it to open the photo in a special Preview window that will automatically play the Live Photo. Click on Live in the lower left to play the Live Photo again. This includes the photo, audio and movement. | |||||||||||||
