Wait For The Most Powerful Galaxy Phone Ever

Wait For The Most Powerful Galaxy Phone Ever

Seriously, you'll want to wait for the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G if you want the fastest and most powerful Galaxy phone ever released. This phone is shaping up to blow everything out of the water, including the Galaxy Note 10 from last year.

The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G will have a huge screens, the best cameras of any S20 model, tons of RAM, plenty of storage, a microSD card slot and more. From what we're hearing it might even be the only model with an SD card at all, unfortunately. Then, you're also getting faster charging and a huge 5,000 mAh battery.

However, we want to focus on the processor, RAM, and storage for a minute. The Samsung Galaxy S20 will be powered by either Qualcomm's capable new Snapdragon 865, or the Exynos 990, or both. They typically offer Snapdragon in the US and a few other regions, with Samsung's in-house Exynos for other areas of the world.

Last year Samsung announced a new Exynos 990 processor with support for 5G, a 120Hz refresh-rate display driver, and an "advanced image signal processor (ISP) that supports up to six individual image sensors with concurrent processing of three." The company says this enables pro-grade photography with resolution up to 108-megapixels. And if you've followed any of the leaks, Samsung's biggest and best Galaxy S20 Ultra (only the Ultra) will come with a 108-megapixel camera.

This potentially means the Ultra won't have a Snapdragon 865, but we're not really sure yet. All we really know is it'll be a fast and powerful phone.

Then, Max tweeted a spec sheet that sounds incredible, which is what we'll leave you with.

  • The S20 Ultra 5G is going to keep the SD Card slot. Support for up to 1TB.
  • Comes in 128GB/256GB/512GB storage and 12GB of RAM (16GB RAM/512GB storage option)
  • 108MP main, 48MP 10x optical, 12MP ultra-wide camera setup.
  • 5000 mAh battery with 45W option fast charge.
  • 0 to 100% in 74 min.

Yeah. A powerful 8-core processor with 16GB of RAM (as much as my MacBook) along with plenty of storage and four rear cameras -- sign me up.
