Don't Wait If You're on a Budget

If money is an issue, or you're on a budget, don't wait for this phone. Judging by what we're seeing from the $1000 to $1,400 Galaxy S20 lineup, the LG V60 could end up being crazy expensive too.

Depending on where you look the LG V50 is over $900, or it was when it got released. You can find great deals on it now, but not originally. Unfortunately, we think the same thing will happen in 2020 with the V60.

If you can't afford to spend $800-$1,000 or you're pushing your budget already, don't wait for the LG V60 in March or April. We say that because if it follows the trend we've seen the last few years, it'll be an expensive phone. LG does tend to undercut Samsung when it comes to pricing, so that's a plus, but don't bank on that happening with all of this new technology.

Combine the bigger screen, second screen, 5G, 5000 mAh battery and more to this phone -- and it'll be expensive.

LG did say that it'll cost under $1,000 which is a very important aspect of this release, but we don't have full pricing, release date details or availability yet.

That said, considering the smaller Galaxy S20+ is $1,199 and the slightly bigger Galaxy S20 Ultra is $1,3999, if LG can really deliver the V60 for $899 or even $949, it'll be over $200 cheaper than the comparable Galaxy S20+ making it a great alternative for those on a budget.

I'm actually hoping that LG sees all the criticism Samsung is facing for the high price tags of the Galaxy S20 series and manages to release its LG V60 with 5G and a huge battery for $899, which will make Samsung reconsider.
