Wait For a Better Display

Let me be honest for a minute. LG makes some great TVs and some pretty good smartphone screens, but they're always a little behind Samsung.

LG's phones always have a screen that's not as big but not as small as the Galaxy S series, putting it right in the middle for buyers. The Galaxy S20 is massive, and even the LG G8x had a 6.4-inch screen. And while we thought this year we'd finally get a 4K screen or a 120Hz refresh rate, that isn't the case.

The LG V60 has a great screen, but it didn't get the upgrade many expected.

With the V60 you're getting a massive 6.8-inch Quad-HD OLED display. It's still just 60 Hz, and not 120 Hz like most of the competition lately, but that does mean it'll get better battery life.  If you've held off on LG phones because the screen wasn't as big as the competition, you'll finally have the choice of getting a big LG V60 in 2020.

Furthermore, LG confirmed to GottaBeMobile that everyone who orders the LG V60 will get that neat "second screen" case accessory absolutely free. We first saw this product with the LG G8x last year, and it's awesome. This is basically a case that protects your LG V60, but when you fold it open there's another 6.8-inch Quad-HD screen inside the folding case.

This is LG's take on the folding phone, and it turns your 6.8-inch V60 into a 14-inch powerhouse smartphone-tablet.  hybrid.
