Wait For an In-Display Fingerprint Scanner

Honestly, I kinda miss the old school fingerprint scanners from the old days, like what we got on the LG G8. However, most devices ditched that style in favor of edge-to-edge screens, and now the back is covered in cameras on phones.

And while LG tried to offer a new dual front camera system for FaceID, it didn't work all that great. 

LG's phones in 2020 will ditch both of those things and again opt for a fingerprint scanner. Only this one is inside the phone, under the screen, and it can actually read your fingerprint through the display. It aims up and scans or takes a photo of your finger.

We've seen this on the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S20, OnePlus phones and several other high-end devices, and are glad to see LG joining in on the fun.
