Don't Wait If You Didn't Like the V50

If all of the information in this post and our first few slides looks familiar, it's because we heard and saw similar reports about the LG V50 last year. Instead, the phone ended up being average at best, safe, packed a big notch, and nothing too special. It was good, it just wasn't special.

While we're seeing some powerful new cameras on the back, four microphones for improved audio and video recording, and a big battery, that's about it. LG didn't do a cutout in the display for an edge-to-edge screen, they didn't up the refresh rate to 90 or 120Hz, and they didn't even put a telephoto camera in this phone.

I'm glad to finally see a massive 5,000 mAh battery in this phone, but that and a bigger screen might not be enough to sway buyers.

That all said if you didn't like what you saw from LG and the V50 or the G8x, don't wait for the V60, because it's mainly more of the same from LG.
