November Pixel 2 Android Oreo Update Changes

Google's November Android Oreo update is all about security and fixing bugs. You can start by looking through the Google Security bulletin to see what's new, what changed, and what Google patched.

The OTA notification mentions the update will address bugs, performance and other things, and it did. We're seeing better Bluetooth, improved WiFi performance, and of course the changes for the display colors. This update is available for the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Nexus Player, and Pixel C Tablet.

Some of the other changes include improvements to Portrait mode for the camera, auto-fill in apps and Chrome, picture-in-picture mode, better notifications, and a wide color-gamut for all apps. That along with the color management will make the Pixel 2 look even better.

If you're wondering what's new, we've put together a guide that will take you through all of the important changes to Oreo that you'll enjoy on the Pixel 2 XL.

Then, Google's released its own guide that runs down everything that's new in Oreo, and what you can expect.
