New iOS 11 iPad Features

Apple announced a number of new iOS 11 iPad features that will help ramp up productivity on the iPad. These are coming to multiple iPads, but if you have the iPad Pro you will get the biggest benefits from these new features. 

The iOS 11 iPad update adds a new dock to the home screen on the iPad that holds more apps and includes a predictive area that adds apps that you might need next to the dock. It's now easier to multitask right from the dock and then go from a Slide Over to a Split View. You can even go straight to multitasking from the new dock. 

With the iPad on iOS 11, you can now drag and drop from one app to another to quickly attach a photo to mail or an iMessage. The iOS 11 update adds new support for the Apple Pencil that allows you to instanly markup a screenshot, instantly take notes from the lock screen, draw inline in Mail and use the new document scanner to quickly scan and sign a file to send to someone. 

Quickly flick up on the keyboard to type numbers, symbols, punctuation and more so that you can type faster.
