Set Up Touch ID Completely

Set Up Touch ID Completely

When you set up the 9.7-inch iPad Pro you will see a prompt to set up Touch ID. During this session the iPad only trains for one finger, which isn't super useful.

We suggest training at least three others for the iPad Pro Touch ID sensor. You can train more, but both thumbs and both index fingers are generally enough.

Go to Settings -> Touch ID & Passcode -> Enter your Passcode -> Tap on Add a Fingerprint. Repeat this until all of your fingerprints are trained.

Now look back up at the top of this section and enable using Touch ID for Apple Pay and for iTunes and the App Store. This will allow you to buy apps with your fingerprint and to use Apple Pay inside some apps with Touch ID.

This takes just a few minutes, but it makes logging into your iPad much easier every single time you do it.
