The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Android Pie update requires a sizable chunk of space on your device's internal storage.
Beta users are looking at a multiple MB download while those moving from Oreo should see a 1.5GB+ download. If you're running out of space, or even if you're not, use this time to cleanup your Note 8's storage. It'll help you get Pie up and running faster. If you've owned your Galaxy Note 8 for awhile, you've probably got a lot of files you no longer need sitting around on your hard drive. If you need to, dig into your storage and delete the photos, game saves, videos, music, etc. you no longer need hanging on your device.
If you don't know where to start, you can use the device's Device maintenance feature in your Settings to help narrow down the list of items to delete. |
