Get Familiar with Android Oreo

Before you install the Android Oreo update on your Galaxy S8 make sure you're familiar with all (or most) of the changes on board the Android 8.0 update.

Samsung's version of Android 8.0 Oreo comes with a long list of changes including the company's new Experience 9.0 user interface.

First, we recommend getting familiar with Google's changes. To do that, take a look at our Android 8.0 vs. Android 7.0 walkthrough. It highlights the differences between Oreo and Nougat at the Google-level.

You'll also want to get familiar with the tweaks Samsung's made to its user interface. Some of these will jump right out at you, others are much smaller.

To help you do that, you can take a look at our guide to the Galaxy S8 Android Oreo update or Samsung's own Experience 9.0 UI walkthrough
