Many assumed that GameFreak would add new evolutions for some of the series' most iconic creatures. These evolutions would be specific to Alola. Turns out, the developer had something slightly different in mind. Alola has region variants of familiar Pokemon instead of completely new evolutions. These Region variants have different powers than they're known for today. Sandshrew, Vulpix, Ninetails, Exeggutor all have Alola versions that look very different from the versions we're all familiar with today. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
