This next one is a toss-up, but something modders and Android enthusiasts should know about. The first Pixel came with a locked bootloader if you bought it from Verizon Wireless. This means no hacking and customizing things as you see fit. Just like some people Jailbreak and iPhone, users want to do the same on Android. The original Pixel was locked down by Verizon, and we're expecting that again. Until we know more information, we recommend simply buying it from Google. It's better safe than sorry, right? | ||||||
