Madden 16 Connected Franchise Upgrades

If you love to play the Connected Franchise mode you’ll enjoy the new features that EA says puts players first.

New players can get started faster with a three-step setup process. During drives you now have a goal to focus on to earn added XP or confidence. Goals are specific to the events in the current game, so you can get a new challenge each time you play. Dynamic Drive Goals can help you improve players faster. It’s also easier to see goal progress in-game and there are improvements to Weekly Goals.

EA added a new visual team depth chart and a new player card to make team management easier and more fluid. In this franchise mode, Madden 16 players can use new scouting reports and combine stats. There are also many other new Madden 16 features related to Connected Franchise Mode that players can check out.

Fixes for Madden 15 Cheats & Exploits

Some of the best new Madden 16 features are fixes for exploits, cheats and problems from Madden 15. The list below addresses problems that hindered play and exploits that players could use to gain an unfair advantage.

  • QB Spy logic updated (QB swerves the spy exploit)
  •  Flip the Play to speed up huddle break issue has been addressed
  • Out of position subs causing exploitable routes has been addressed
  • Rocket Catching / Mossing / DB Glitches have been significantly reduced and/or eliminated
  • A large percentage of the known “nano-blitzes” have been removed
  • The PA End Around exploit play has been addressed.
  • Route swapping exploits have also been resolved.
  • A variety of ‘money plays’ have been revised or altered.
  • Resolved the friendly quit glitch for Madden NFL 16

It is likely that there will be Madden 16 glitches and exploits, but at the very least EA plugged some of the problems from Madden 15 up.

Better Defense of Rushing Quarterbacks

The new Madden 16 defenders will be better able to deal with a QB who runs for a first down.

EA announced new QB Spy logic that will help players defend against a rushing quarterback better. This new logic will help a QB Spy assignment stick to the QB better and stop a rush.

Players can also choose to abandon the spy at any point in the play with a click of the R3 button after the snap.

Madden players who’ve yelled at a Spy sitting back when he could go aggressive and get a sack will love this new feature.
