This is the first 16 bit Mega Man game and the first in the Mega Man X series. You control Mega Man a century after the original series where you need to traverse a world filled with humans and Reploids. You control your character across eight stages, choosing the order you want to take them on in any order you choose. You must beat a boss at the end of each level and you'll then get a weapon that you can use for the remainder of the game.
