The Samsung Galaxy Note 5's Nougat update comes with Android 7.0's Data Saver function. Its name tells you all you need to know. It can help you save data and, perhaps, some money. 

Data Saver lets you cut data usage off from apps that are eating up data in the background. It also cuts down on the data usage of an app when it's currently in use. For instance, some images might not load until you tap on them. 

It also gives control over which apps get access to unrestricted data on your Galaxy Note 5. This allows you to whitelist the apps you use the most.
