If you used a Galaxy phone running Android KitKat you might remember a floating keyboard from your days with the operating system. 

For whatever reason, Samsung decided to kill the feature in newer versions of Android though it has brought it back in Android Pie and those of you who sometimes struggle with the size of the Galaxy Note 8's display might find it useful.
