If you used a Galaxy phone running Android KitKat you might remember a floating keyboard from your days with the operating system.
For whatever reason, Samsung decided to kill the feature in newer versions of Android though it has brought it back in Android Pie and those of you who sometimes struggle with the size of the Galaxy Note 8's display might find it useful. Android Pie's floating keyboard allows you to move the stock keyboard around the screen in an effort to find a sweet spot for two-handed typing. If you've got small hands or if typing just feels awkward sometime, try the Android Pie beta and enable the floating keyboard. It works in most apps.
