Install Android Pie Beta for New Emojis

If you love sending emoji characters in messages to your friends and family, you might want to give the Android Pie beta a try.

Samsung's version of Android Pie comes with Unicode 11.0 which means the beta delivers a bunch of new emoji characters to the Galaxy Note 9.

There are a bunch of new emojis in Unicode 11.0, but examples include a softballllamalobster, hot face, superhero, and super villain.

Unfortunately, if your friends and family aren't running Android 9.0 Pie, they won't be able to see the emoji characters. They'll likely see jumbled symbols instead.
