One UI isn't the only major change on board Android Pie. You should also get some of Google's features as well.

The Android Pie update comes with several notable changes including Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness, App Actions, Slices, and Smart Text Selection.

Adaptive Battery is an AI-based feature that learns how you use the apps on your phone over time and uses the data to improve your device's battery life.

If you use an app a lot, it will stay in your memory after you close it. If you don't use an app a lot, your device will instantly kill it so it doesn't eat up power in the background.

The AI also learns when you use your apps the most. So if you use an app at a certain point in the day, it will wake that app up during that time period. It will stop the app in the background during the times you don't regularly use it.

Adaptive Brightness also uses AI to learn your habits. Over time, your phone will learn how you like to set your phone's brightness in certain situations and it will adjust the screen accordingly. This can help preserve your battery life as well.
