Don't Install iOS 17.0.2 While You're Traveling

If you're preparing for a trip or if you're already on on and you're unable to spend time on the phone with Apple if something goes wrong after the update, you should wait to install iOS 17.0.2 until a later date.

There's a good chance iOS 17.0.2 works fine on your iPhone, but it takes a while to install the update and there is always a chance something could go wrong.

You may not want to deal with 1) waiting an hour for an update to install, 2) finding help online or at a store, and/or 3) dealing with apps or services that aren't working.
