The iOS 17 update features some very welcomed improvements to Autofill. Specifically, it can quickly clear up those one-time verification codes you get from apps or websites.
On iOS 16 and below, you need to manually delete the one-time verification codes you get in the Messages app. Some of us just simply live with them. Fortunately, iOS 17 includes a way to delete verification codes in Messages and Mail after they've been used in an app or website via Autofill. In order to do this, you simply need to head into the Passwords app and toggle the "Clean Up Automatically" function on.
If you're sick of one-time verification codes clogging up your Messages, think about installing iOS 17. |
