Install iOS 17 Beta If You Work in IT

This almost goes without saying, but if you work in the IT industry you should probably install the iOS 17 beta in order to test apps and services for issues.

Enterprise issues are extremely common and we always get complaints after Apple releases a new version of iOS. We expect a flood of complaints in September when Apple releases the final version of iOS 17.

If you're an IT professional who supports end users at your company you should install the beta on a device and use it throughout the summer.

Testing the iOS 17 beta will help you prepare for support calls and trouble tickets from co-workers and clients who upgrade to the official version of iOS 17.

I would never install a beta on any primary use device. I would also wait for at least a couple revisions of a final release to eliminate the bugs found after a public release. Sometimes bugs just are not found until more devices start running the new OS.
