The iOS 17 beta features some very welcomed improvements to Autofill. Specifically, iOS 17 can quickly clear up those one-time verification codes you get from apps or websites.
On iOS 16 and below, you need to manually delete the one-time verification codes you get in the Messages app. Some of us just simply live with them. Fortunately, iOS 17 beta includes a way to delete verification codes in Messages and Mail after they've been used in an app or website via Autofill. In order to do this, you simply need to head into the Passwords app and toggle the "Clean Up Automatically" function on.
If you're sick of one-time verification codes clogging up your Messages, think about installing iOS 17 beta. |

I would never install a beta on any primary use device. I would also wait for at least a couple revisions of a final release to eliminate the bugs found after a public release. Sometimes bugs just are not found until more devices start running the new OS.
