If you like to check the weather on your Mac, and you missed macOS Sonoma 14.2 and newer, macOS Sonoma 14.5 delivers some exciting upgrades to the Weather widget. If you aren't using a Weather widget yet, these additions might convince you to do so.
There are three new Weather widgets in the software. There are as follows:
- Sunrise and Sunset: See the upcoming sunrise and sunset information for your location.
- Details: See the chance of precipitation, UV index, wind, and more.
- Daily forecast: See the current weather conditions and daily forecast for a location.
Given how crazy the weather has been in some areas, with more to come this winter, you might find one, or all of these, widgets extremely useful. |

I have a 2019 27″ iMAC with an i5 processor- not cutting edge but hey. Sonoma 14.4 gives me new problems: 1). If I put a windows App on full screen the top of the pages dissapears behind the Apple conterol bar such that I can no longer access the windows tabs. 2). Also If I (Command Shift 4) to copy a screen image to e.g. paste into eMail then the dreaded spinning spectrum of hung system comes up every time. Not impressed with the new Op-system so far!
