If your device is struggling with bugs and/or performance issues, think about downloading macOS Sonoma 14.5. Apple doesn't list any specific bug fixes in the update's release notes, but new versions of macOS often fix unlisted issues. macOS Sonoma 14.5 could also fix performance issues like severe battery drain, busted Wi-Fi connectivity, UI lag, Bluetooth problems, random reboots, lockups and freezes, and various issues with first-party applications. I have a 2019 27″ iMAC with an i5 processor- not cutting edge but hey. Sonoma 14.4 gives me new problems: 1). If I put a windows App on full screen the top of the pages dissapears behind the Apple conterol bar such that I can no longer access the windows tabs. 2). Also If I (Command Shift 4) to copy a screen image to e.g. paste into eMail then the dreaded spinning spectrum of hung system comes up every time. Not impressed with the new Op-system so far!
