There are some great reasons to buy Final Fantasy 7 Remake ahead of its release date. There are also some reasons why you might want to sit back and wait.

At long last, Square Enix has revealed the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Remake in all of its glory. We don’t have every single detail yet, but we know quite a bit about its gameplay, graphical upgrades, pre-order bonuses, and its release date on PlayStation 4.

Assuming there isn’t a delay, Final Fantasy 7 Remake will land for the PS4 on March 3rd, 2020. It’s a bit of a wait, but given how long fans of the series have waited for the release, it’s not a huge deal.

Now that we have an official release date, retailers are taking pre-orders for three versions of the game. We’ve got the standard $60 version, we’ve got an $80 Deluxe Edition, and Square Enix is taking orders for an interesting collector’s edition that’s billed as the 1st Class Edition. The 1st Class Edition goes for $330.

You can buy the game from various retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop.

With the game now out in the open, many people are trying to decide if it’s worth pre-ordering. If you’ve been waiting since the early 2000’s to play a reboot, pre-ordering is probably a no-brainer at this point.

That said, some people that might benefit from waiting a few more weeks, months, or longer before putting in an order.

If you pre-order any version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake you'll get a nice pre-order bonus. 

Those who pre-order will get the Chocobo Chick Summon Materia DLC for free. If you don't pre-order, you should be able to purchase it after the fact. 

For now, that's all you get if you pre-order, but if you plan to invest a ton of time in the game, it might be worth it to you. 

Note that if you buy the Deluxe version of the game you also get the Cactuar Summon Materia DLC and Carbuncle Summon Materia DLC.
