In November and December, we expect to see NHL 20 deals cut the price as low as $35-$39.99 on PS4 and Xbox One. 

These will be online and in-store deals, so you can choose how you want to buy the game. 

This is really for the base edition, since you will miss out on a lot of the bonuses if you wait this long to buy a special edition.
