Don't Wait for a Rugged Apple Watch

If you enjoy taking your Apple Watch into rugged environments, Apple's working on a new Watch for you. Unfortunately, it may not be the Apple Watch 7.

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is working on a new Apple Watch "with a rugged casing aimed at athletes, hikers and others who use the device in more extreme environments."

Gurman initially believed the new model would be coming in 2021 or 2022 at the earliest, but has revised this claim and now says it won't arrive until next year at the earliest.

If a more rugged Apple Watch is something you're interested in, you might have to wait for the Series 8.
