Wait for New Cases Sizes

It looks like Apple might make a big change to the size of the Apple Watch.

According to UnclePan, a leaker on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, the Apple Watch 7 will come in larger 41mm and 45mm case sizes.

If true, these sizes would replace the current 40mm and 44m options that Apple's offered since the release of the Apple Watch 6.

The same account has leaked accurate information in the past. And with Bloomberg's Mark Gurman throwing his weight behind the rumor and a new design (flat-edged design, smaller bezels) reportedly on the way, this is probably the read deal.

We've also seen images of purported 41mm and 45mm Apple Watch bands which seemingly backup these claims.

In his Power On newsletter, Gurman also claims Apple will make "bundle multiple new watch faces to take advantage of the bigger screen, including an updated Infograph Modular face."

While the Apple Watch's display size is likely going to increase, the height and width of the device should remain the same which means they'll be compatible with existing bands.

We've also heard that they may not be compatible with the new Apple Watch so this is up in the air as we approach the launch.

If you'd be interested in a larger case size, think about waiting.
