Don't expect the device to come with a huge, iPad Pro-style, redesign.
Given that this device will likely be positioned as a budget alternative to the iPad Pro and iPad Air lines, we don't expect a premium design with features like Face ID. Instead, we'll probably see thinner bezels, similar to the iPad Air, Touch ID with a home button and, if we're lucky, a 3.5mm headphone jack. If you aren't in love with the iPad Air/9.7-inch iPad design language, you should probably start looking elsewhere.
