At Google I/O earlier this year we saw something called the Google Lens. This is a brand new app that uses your smartphone camera, machine learning, and the power of Google search to do some amazing things. 

Google Lens isn't just about scanning barcodes either. Recognize landmarks, find products, scan barcodes, look up an address, save a WiFi password and more instantly. The Lens app scans things in the real world with your camera, then intelligently uses that information to make life easier. 

Instantly scan a business card and Google Lens will create a contact and save the name, email address, phone number and even a physical address if it's available. It can find phone numbers, email addresses, navigation directions and more all in seconds. We still don't know the full power of Google Lens, but the new Pixel phones will get it first.
