Make Room for the Update

For most users, Android Pie will be a huge download.

If you're coming from the final version of the beta, your download will only be a few hundred megabytes. If you're moving your device from Android Oreo, your update will be upwards of 1.6GB.

If you're running out of storage space (or even if you're not) use this time to cleanup your device's storage.

If you've had your Galaxy S8 for awhile, you've probably accumulated a ton of clutter. Dig into your storage and delete photos, game saves, videos, music, and other files you no longer need.

If you don't know where to start, you can use the Galaxy S8's Device maintenance feature in your Settings to help you narrow down the files you can safely delete from your phone.
