The iOS 10.1.1 update is currently treating us well but some of you might be better off skipping the update, especially now with a new iOS release on the horizon. 

There are plenty of reasons to consider installing the iOS 10.1.1 update. For instance, it could solve a problem you're having on an older version of iOS 10. There are also some reasons to consider passing on Apple's iOS 10.1.1 update. 

Some of these reasons (lack of an iOS 10 jailbreak) are obvious. Others may not have occurred to you. (We don't recommend installing iOS updates while you're traveling.)
