The Oculus Rift is one of two VR headsets available for Windows PCs. When you buy one, you get access to Oculus Rift games and SteamVR game.

Inside the headset is a 1200 x 1080p resolution display that has a 90Hz refresh rate. A gyroscope, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and magnetometer help it orient itself and know when you’re moving your head and the included Touch motion controllers. External tracking sensors help with that too. There’s a built-in microphone for voice chats and a built-in headset.

The Oculus Rift’s game line-up is pretty solid. You get Lucky’s Tale, Robo Recall, Dead Buried, Quill, Medium and Toybox with the headset. The Oculus Store has Minecraft, Eve Valkyrie, Star Trek Bridge Crew and thousands of other games and apps for you to buy.

Complexity is the only real reason to not buy the Oculus Rift + Touch Bundle that Microsoft sells for $399. You must connect the Oculus Rift to a Windows PC for it to work, and that PC needs at least 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti graphics card. You also need to configure the included sensors.
