Leveling System Changes

Black Ops 3 and Advanced Warfare both feature a leveling system but their approach is a little bit different, something that you'll want to be aware of as we move closer and closer to the Black Ops 3 release date in November.

In both games, you level by playing the game and using different guns and gadgets. However, unlike Advanced Warfare, Black Ops 3 gives out tokens that you use to unlock new Specialists, new Specialist items, new guns, and new perks. You gain these tokens by, you guessed it, leveling up.

Obtaining these tokens will take time and you'll need to be strategic about how you use them. Yes, the Pick 10 class customization returns in Black Ops 3.  The video above outlines some of the best ways to use Black Ops 3's unlock tokens.

Some Black Ops 3 beta testers believe that the leveling system in Black Ops 3 is far too slow and it will be interesting to see if Treyarch makes any changes ahead of the game's release.
