Common Clash Royale Problems & How to Fix Them
Loading Stuck at 50 or even 100%

Another common issue is the game loading to 50% and then freezing. Some even see it get to 100% but the game never fully starts. This is basically a connection or server-side issue, similar to what was mentioned above. We're seeing this a lot after the September and December 2019 balance changes. It didn't go away with the March 2020 update either. Your best bet is to close Clash Royale completely. By either double tapping home on iPhone or using the recent apps tab on Android. Completely kill the game, and restart it. Does this happen to you all the time, and not just occasionally. If so, Android users can try clearing the cache for the game. Make sure it's synced to Google Games first, to save your progress, then clear it. This will erase game data, but the next time you start Clash Royale it will restore your account. Head into Settings > Applications (or default apps) and find Clash Royale from the list. Click the game, and hit "Clear Cache" or "Clear Data" and then continue. This erases almost everything and clears all game files. Or, just uninstall and re-install the game. Now, next time you turn it on the loading screen will take a little longer, but it should work. When the popup asks you to restore your account make sure it says the right level and hit ok. It will restart and you'll be back in and ready for battle.
