Common Clash Royale Problems & How to Fix Them
Battery Drain Bug | |||||||||

Recently we're seeing a ton of complaints that Clash Royale is draining the battery on players smartphones. In fact, my own Galaxy S10+ gives me a big orange warning almost every day. Even if I haven't played Royale for over 3-4 hours. This is still going on as of February of 2020. Apparently, the Special Offers are causing this problem. A user on Reddit posted this photo, which shows traffic and network information. According to him, the special offers are keeping phones awake and draining our batteries. Supercell is likely working on a fix. For now, your only solution is head to Settings > apps > force close and kill Clash Royale. Once you stop it from running it can't use any more battery until you start the app again, or reboot your phone. We'll update once we learn more on this situation. | |||||||||
