Don't Waste Money at Vendors

Fallout 4 has a number of vendors and those vendors hawk everything from clothing to aid to ammo to unique items. 

While some of these items might be tempting early on, don't bite. Clothing, weapons, and aid are all common loot. They appear on enemies, in shelves, in caves, on the ground, all over the place. And the best part is, if you don't buy them off a vendor, they're free.

If you feel the need to burn some of those bottlecaps early on, spend it on fusion cores, ammo or crafting materials that will benefit your settlement, armor or your weaponry.

You'll find Rad-X, Stimpacks, weapons, armor, and other items elsewhere. And more often than not, the gear you find around the wasteland is better than what the vendor is trying to sell you.
