Galaxy Note 5 Oreo Update: 6 Reasons to Get Excited & 2 Not To
New Samsung Keyboard | |||||||||
It's difficult to predict what a Galaxy Note 5 Oreo update might look like, but we'd expect Samsung to bring some of its new Samsung Experience features over to the Galaxy Note 5. One potential improvement is the new stock Samsung Keyboard. It's far from perfect, but it's a step in the right direction. Samsung's Android 8.0 Oreo update brings brand new emoji characters to Galaxy keyboards. They've got a much cleaner look and we, and many others, prefer them to the current set in Android Nougat. If you still haven't gotten acquainted with all of the new emoji characters, you can get a good look at them right here. Samsung's also included a few other changes that could convince you to switch from a third-party keyboard to the stock option. The company's new keyboard toolbar gives Oreo users quick access to its most important functions, native GIF support, and a more accessible clipboard within the keyboard. The company's also included new high-contrast keyboards that'll be a little bit easier on the eyes and new resizing options that could help you improve your typing and swipes. | |||||||||
