The Galaxy Note 8 Android Pie update will come with new software features from Samsung, but we also expect it to come with some of Google's top Android Pie features as well. 

Google's Android Pie update comes with a variety of changes including Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness, App Actions, Slices, Smart Text Selection, new emojis for the keyboard, and improved security via features like Lockdown. 

We don't know how many of these will make it into the official Galaxy Note 8 Pie update, but it should benefit from some of them at least.
