Galaxy Note 8 Android Pie Update Just Weeks Away

It wasn't the first to Android Pie, but it looks like Galaxy Note 8 users won't be too far behind the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9. Samsung is testing Android Pie on the Galaxy Note 8. The firmware is known as N950FXXU5DRK4 behind the scenes. The device has also been certified with Android Pie on board and again, there's now a beta in public testing in select regions. Samsung's Android Pie roadmap points to an official release in February ahead of a Galaxy S8 Pie release in March. That's a target date, but it sure looks like Samsung is pushing to get the software out in the early part of 2019. The company recently released the fourth version of the Note 8 Pie beta, a sign that the update is making significant progress. That's obviously great news for Galaxy Note 8 owners.

There’s absolutely nothing of substance in this article. Simply admit you know nothing about the contents or release date of the update.
