Get Excited for Galaxy S9/Galaxy Note 9 Features

Early reports indicate the Galaxy Note 8 will get some of the software features currently found on the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9. 

While we expect some features to stay exclusive to the current flagships, it looks like the Galaxy Note 8 will get at least some of what the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy Note 9 have to offer.

Here's the current list of potential upgrades, courtesy of a Galaxy user in France:

• A space will now be added automatically after a number when swipe to type is used. 
• Support VoLTE and VoWiFi.
• Improvements to Voice Recorder and Gallery (easier access to recorded videos). 
• Devices can now read the name and phone number during an incoming call.

This is an early list and we could see additional features added as the company's Note 8 Android Pie update make progress behind the scenes. 

We expect the Galaxy Note 8 Pie update to share a lot in common with the Galaxy S9 Android Pie update so you can start getting familiar with those changes right now.
