Note 8 vs Galaxy S8+: Price & Release Date

Last but not least is the price and release date, two highly important aspects of this decision for anyone. The Galaxy S8+ is available as we speak from all carriers and around the globe. If you need a phone now, go get one.

The Galaxy Note 8 release date is right around the corner. Set for September 15th to be precise. And while that isn't too much of a wait, it could be too long for some.

A bigger problem is how much the Galaxy Note 8 actually costs. With excellent deals on the S8 surfacing every day, it's hard to recommend the Note 8 for over $900.  Especially when some S8 deals drop it to under $600.

Depending on the carrier you'll pay around $930-$960 for the Galaxy Note 8 and its two cameras. Carriers offer monthly payment plans, but still, those are around $35-40 a month in addition to what you're already paying.  You can find some good Note 8 deals, but most of it is free accessories.

So, if you can't afford to spend $950 on the new Galaxy Note 8 or can't wait, we recommend buying the Galaxy S8+ instead. Deals surface daily and you won't need to pay full price.
