The camera setup on these two phones could be the deciding factor for millions of buyers. They're very similar across the board, but each takes a completely different approach to the dual camera system on the back.
With the Note 8, you'll get two new and improved 12 Dual Pixel sensors that sit sideways as shown in our hands-on photo above. One is a regular great camera like the Galaxy S8, while the second offers a 2x optical and 10x digital zoom WITH optical image stabilization. It's the first dual camera phone where both cameras have OIS. Being able to zoom in with stabilization should deliver great photos. LG has offered dual cameras for a few years and does things differently. The 13 Megapixel dual camera setup is fast, accurate and takes great photos. However, one has a "first for a smartphone" f/1.6 aperture for daily photos, which is incredibly fast. While the second one is a wide-angle lens. Meaning instead of a zoom feature like Apple and Samsung, LG offers wide-angle photography. Perfect for landscapes, group portraits, and other situations. You'll need to decide which camera sounds like it has features you'll use the most. Both will be excellent, there's no question about that.

Everything we know so far??? Not a single mention of removable or non removable battery. You act like this want even a feature in the v20. If it’s not there, that is a big loss for consumers. They will have to buy another$1000 device when their battery doesn’t hold a full charge anymore.

No removable back = no sale will keep my v20. It works great and I don’t go swimming with it

It will come down to screen size, camera tricks… and price. Both screen size is sweet spot for me. I currently have LG G5 and still am crazy with its extreme wide angle feature! I like good zoom range but my very good pocket camera Lumix ZS70 has a 30X zoom range can take that job better. We’ll see…
