Galaxy S10 vs Galaxy S8: Design

Now that you know the S10 offers a bigger screen in a similar package, what else is changing with the design? Well, aside from triple cameras on the back, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a way bigger battery, physically the design is somewhat similar.

Samsung has a design language and history, so the phones look somewhat similar, and personally, that's a good thing. I like the design.

Galaxy Phone Thickness

As you can see, the new Galaxy S10 series is significantly thinner than the previous generation. 14% thinner, to be exact. They're also lighter and back a bigger battery. Now that's engineering.

Samsung is using stronger and lighter metal for the frame, the most durable glass on the market to cover the front and the back, and they removed the rear fingerprint scanner. That means it's bigger, faster, stronger, more durable yet thinner at the same time. It's pretty impressive, really.
