Galaxy S6 Nougat Update: 5 Reasons to Get Excited & 2 Not To
Secure Folder | ||||||||

One of the best Samsung Galaxy Note 7 features might become available for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge after their Nougat updates are released. Secure Folder was one of our favorite Galaxy Note 7 features and it's now available for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, provided the devices are running Android 7.0 Nougat. Samsung hasn't confirmed it for any other devices though it says it "plans to extend support to additional devices soon." We expect the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 to get this feature once Android Nougat arrives. Secure Folder is a protected folder and an excellent way to keep the most important files stored on your device secure. Bank account information, things of that nature. You can change the folder's name and icon and you must use an authentication method (PIN, pattern, passcode or biometric verification) to access and manage your Secure Folder. If you store sensitive data on your Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6, the sound of Secure Folder is probably music to your ears. | ||||||||
